We are currently partnering with a prominent residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Susinteraction, in search of experienced and qualified Senior Healthcare Assistants to join their team. Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants to provide leadership and support within our client's residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea. As a Senior HCA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to residents while providing guidance and supervision to junior staff members. Shift Types: Combination of day and night shifts, average shift duration of 12-12.5 hours Key Responsibilities: Providing hands-on care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance. Supporting residents with medication administration as per care plans and protocols. Acting as a role model for junior staff members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed. Assisting with the training and development of junior staff, ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements. Liaising with other healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care plans and support for residents. Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of resident care and observations. Promoting a safe and supportive environment for residents and adhering to health and safety protocols. Job Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working as a Senior HCA in a similar setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire others. Compassionate and empathetic approach towards residents and colleagues.
