As the FPGA Design Engineer, your role will be to support the Chief Hardware Engineer and work in the Hardware team to develop FPGA firmware for new products at the site in Surrey. This global leader of safe, efficient, and reliable Navigation Solutions for the commercial and defence maritime industry are looking for a FPGA Design Engineer with experience in working with Digital Signal Processing DSP, in the context of firmware development and good knowledge of signal processing principle to join a proactive environment, ensuring all Hardware projects are completed to a high standard. Key requirements for the FPGA Design Engineer Job based in Surrey will include: Digital Signal Processing DSP in the context of firmware development Must have good working knowledge of Image Processing techniques A working knowledge of High-Speed ADC and DACS interfaces A working knowledge of RF transceivers A requirement for VHDL. Knowledge of Verilog is preferable Experience with Vivado is required and Xilinx AMD preferred Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems is important The ideal candidate for this FPGA Design Engineer position will be someone with a passion to succeed, with an agile mind-set and appreciation of circuit design and interfacing hardware within the context of overall designs.
