Primary Function & Purpose: With minimal supervision set up and operate plant and equipment to enable production output to be met. Maintain and preserve the value of the Company’s assets, fully contributing to planned preventative maintenance and calibration activities. Undertake installation and commissioning of plant and equipment associated with projects. Suggest and implement modifications to plant and equipment to improve performance and /or reliability. Ensure plant and equipment remains in a safe, and proper condition, at all times during both operating and maintenance periods. Attend to plant and equipment breakdowns and failures. Principle Responsibilities: Program and troubleshoot logic systems, including electrical relay, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Performs mechanical, electrical, or electronic fault analysis and repair in response to equipment breakdown. Repairs or replaces equipment components, sensors and/or instrumentation as needed.
