As an active member of the Production team, you will assist in the smooth running of all areas of the production process in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective way. Role: Production Process Operator Location: Birmingham£Competitive & Benefits inc free Healthcare, On-site gym, subsidised lunch, EAP schemes, financial assistance, etc Hours: 12 Hour Shifts, 4 on 4 Off Shift Rotation Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for a Production Process Operator to join their growing Production Team on a permanent contract. As an active member of the Production team, you will assist in the smooth running of all areas of the production process in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective way. Duties include: - To liaise with your production team colleagues to be available where required. - Use the process control computers to monitor and problem-solve the operation. - Liaising with the production team concerning the production plan. - Reporting and liaising with the production team leader in respect of production operations, problems, efficiencies, and safety. - Be actively involved with informative shift handovers with your colleagues to ensure issues arecommunicated and understood. - In the event of machine failure use process knowledge, skill, and documented procedures to ensurework is carried out in a safe and controlled manner. - During maintenance, breakdowns, or blockages, assisting maintenance personnel in working towardsgetting plant and machinery back into operation as quickly and safely as possible. What we are looking for: - Process control DCS, Siemens, or similar. - Fault finding and problem solving. - Supporting a fast-paced production/manufacturing plant. - Basic Lean manufacturing quality controls- Workplace organisation. - Knowledge of Process controls- Know how a simple control loop works At KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout,.
