Integrapeople are working with their client based in Liverpool to hire 4x Handyman/caretakers for their school sites, based across Liverpool and the Wirral. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of various schools to ensure premises are in optimal condition. Perform checks on doors, lights, and other fixtures, reporting any issues promptly. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of various schools to ensure premises are in optimal condition. Perform checks on doors, lights, and other fixtures, reporting any issues promptly. Maintain a keen eye for detail to identify potential maintenance requirements. Coordinate with relevant personnel to arrange repairs and resolve issues efficiently. Prioritize and respond to call-outs to address urgent matters affecting the schools. Demonstrate expertise in fire alarms, fire safety, and legionella management. Utilize construction/maintenance experience to contribute to the upkeep of school facilities. Adhere to a Monday to Friday schedule with the possibility of overtime as needed. Opening and closing schools Key holder Requirements: Previous experience in construction and maintenance is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience in fire alarms, fire safety, and legionella management. Ability to work independently and proactively address maintenance issues. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work within the specified hours, including occasional overtime. Enhanced DBS check for child barring is mandatory for this role. Valid UK driving license is required 6 points or less Benefits: Competitive annual salary £23,000 - £25,000.
