Job Title: Assistant Facilities Manager Sector: Facilities Management, Life Sciences and Engineering Location: Sedgefield, County Durham Randstad Construction, Property and Engineering are seeking a talented Assistant Facilities Manager to support our clients Facilities Management team in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of their facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail: oriented, and have a strong understanding of facility management principles. This is a rare and unique opportunity, working directly with an organisation to provide FM services and not with an FM provider Package: Competitive salary between GBP33,000 : GBP35,000 (depending on experience) Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week) Overtime available Annual leave and bank holidays Generous pension scheme Training and development courses Responsibilities: Assist in the day: to: day management of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects and services. Conduct regular inspections to backss the condition of facilities and identify areas for improvement. Assist in developing and implementing facility maintenance schedules and procedures. Respond promptly to facility: related issues and emergencies, and take appropriate action to resolve them. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and expenditures. Assist in budget planning and management for facility: related expenses. Collaborate with other departments to support their facility: related needs and initiatives. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in facility management. Requirements: Experienced and qualified within Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in facilities management.
