Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Glasgow) Reference: BY1203 Salary: GBP33,000 : GBP38,000 These ground investigation contracting specialists based out of Glasgow are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a variety of new and exciting projects across the Central Belt. With over 50 years of experience in the Ground Investigation industry and providing services ranging from data management and health and safety to geotechnical and environmental services, this company are recruiting to expand and keep up with an increase in business and projects. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered: A great salary (GBP33,000 : GBP38,000), with bonuses possible. Company benefit and pension scheme, including a company car and travel allowance.. Work on a variety of exciting and new projects with a sociable team of industry specialists, allowing you to continue networking and developing your skills. Client facing work allowing connections to be built. This Senior Geotechnical Engineer role will require you to: Lead and oversee large and medium scale site investigations around Scotland. Infrequent travel and staying away from home for projects. Reviewing and writing factual reports. Manage contracts and communicate with clients. To be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role you should be familiar with and have experience with UK site investigation techniques. Its important to have extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo: environmental schemes relating to contaminated land. A degree in a relevant subject, for example geology or geotechnical/civil engineering is imperative, as well as a full UK Driving Licence. Candidates must also live commutable to the Glasgow office and have a full right to work in the UK.
