Illumination Foundation (IF) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children's and family programs. IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire. Job Description The Warehouse Assistant assists in the oversight of warehouse inventory. Performs and assists with logistics of all donations (pick up & delivery). Transportation maintenance, documentation and repairs. Event logistics set up & tear down. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - 21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities Organize warehouse, incoming donations, deliveries and storage Assist with donation pickups and deliveries across the agency Transportation, maintenance, documentation, repairs and acquisitions Provide event logistics setup and tear down for all departments as needed. Support clients with delivery and procurement of household items. Aid in completion of work orders for site maintenance. Abilities/ Knowledge Be able to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure. Organized with strong attention to detail Execute logistics of set up and tear down of events A sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, ability to remain true to the agencies mission and ethics Efficiency in handling a high capacity workload Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and to move or lift up to 50+ pounds. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling. Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
