Position Summary At the Toronto Design Centre, our Product Development teams provide solutions to our customers through the design and development of AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. In this role, you will: Lead a Power Supply development project from concept through to manufacturing introduction. Have advanced expertise and experience in power supply design. Job Duties/Responsibilities Oversee very complex, or multiple complex technical projects, including cross-functional projects where a high degree of judgment and independence are required in developing solutions and resolving unusual problem situations. Lead a Power Supply development project from kickoff through to manufacturing introduction. Have decision-making authority and autonomy to deliver on technical project goals as applicable. Supervise the work of engineers (all classifications) and technologists working on a project or advanced technology development. Ensure technical integrity of the design. When required interface with the customer to communicate technical information. When required negotiate with the customer to achieve agreement for product spec requirements.
