Job summary This position reports to the Manager, Employee Communications & Engagement, and is responsible for providing support, planning, execution, measurement and evaluation of various employee communication and engagement strategies and tactics. This includes drafting communication plans for organizational activities that are aligned to corporate communication strategies, leading execution of certain initiatives, building strong working relationships with staff and leadership from across the organization and providing support to the Manager. How you will make a difference Developing and executing employee communications strategies and tactics that are aligned to organizational objectives across multiple channels that leverage a variety of mediums, including written content, employee engagement activities, surveys, graphic design, video editing, etc. Managing the OMA’s intranet Staff Space, including making necessary technical adjustments, regularly reviewing metrics to backss the impact of intranet initiatives, collaborating with the vendor to keep the site to industry standards, and to ensure optimal user experience and the employee community’s needs are met. Developing and maintaining a network of intranet superusers with knowledge of the platform's features and capabilities and encouraging best practices for content creation and engagement on the intranet. Prepares key communications for internal stakeholders, identifying key audiences and channels and crafting communication materials to optimize audience impact; reviews and edits communications drafted.
