Freelance Graphic Designer At itison we match our 1.7m households to the best local businesses; work with over 5000 of the best local and national businesses, create Scotland’s most spectacular major events; own and operate some of the best local venues, and set up our own charity, itison us, to give experiences to those who need them the most. We’re looking for a talented freelance graphic designer to support our fast-paced Marketing team, working across designs and artwork for our major events and seven of Glasgow’s best-loved venues. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about great design, has lots of creativity, and superb attention to detail. This position aims to offer support during high-demand periods, with the potential for extended freelance opportunities in the future. We are looking for individuals who can commit to 3-5 days per week and be present in the office as needed. The start date for this role is 19th February, and the contract will initially be for 6 weeks. About the role and you Every day will be different but expect to be busy as part of the launch team for amazing new venues and events; with your role encompassing all elements of design. You’ll be responsible for all elements of print and web assets for itison venues and events, including, but not limited to: branding, menus, invitations, posters, signage, and social media assets. You’ll be confident working alone or creating within a team to get the best result. This role is fast-paced, fun, and often with tight deadlines. We’re looking for someone who loves creating epic designs whilst appreciating the detail of marketing collateral. Organisational ability to work across multiple projects is essential. This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a dynamic and rapidly growing operation. We’re looking for a team player who wants to get stuck in from the get-go!
