Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Norwich) Reference: BY1197 Salary: GBP55,000 : GBP65,000 An exciting opportunity for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead a team of ground investigation specialists has presented itself in Norfolk. Youll be provided with excellent support from a small team of approximately 12 site investigation specialists, working on a huge range of recently won projects in the East of the UK. If youre looking for a step up in responsibility and team leading in your career, this is the ideal next step. The successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will receive: A competitive salary (GBP45,000 : GBP55,000). Company benefit, pension and bonus schemes. Company vehicle with private use. Social team of specialist geotechnical and geo: environmental engineers to work with. Client facing work allowing for networking. Team leading allowing for supported career development and experience. The Principal Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include: Leading a site investigation team through a variety of projects, ensuring smooth development and delivery, project managing at times. Liaising closely with clients, contributing to business development, contract managing, tendering and team development. Overseeing site and report work. Mentoring junior team members. As a result, the Principal Geotechnical Engineer role requires experience in a geology based role, with extensive knowledge of site investigation practices. You should have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc), a full UK Driving Licence and be commutable to the Norwich area.
