Transport Refrigeration Engineer/ Refrigeration Mechanic/ Fleet Refrigeration Technician Job Title - Transport Refrigeration Engineer Salary £33,000 - £37,000Location - Leeds I am currently working with a commercial vehicle workshop.Transport Refrigeration Engineer/ Refrigeration Mechanic/ Fleet Refrigeration Technician Job Title - Transport Refrigeration Engineer Salary £33,000 - £37,000Location - Leeds I am currently working with a commercial vehicle workshop in the Leeds area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified Transport Refrigeration Engineer or Van Fitter. Transport Refrigeration Engineer / Refrigeration Technician job role: - Managing individual job assignments and using own initiative at customer sites - Participating in out of hours call-out rotas when required - Using the workshop/ van equipment in a correct manner - Completing any repairs and servicing to the correct standard - Recording usage of refrigeration parts and consumables per job - Correctly recording the use, recycling and disposal of F Gases - Completing all work in a professional and timely manner - Preparing and submitting vehicles to a standard appropriate for the use intended - Communicating accurately with Foreman/ Manager as to work in progress and any anticipated delays or issues - Ensuring knowledge is in line with modern technologies and developments applicable to the role - Responsible for adhering to health and safety guidelines applicable to the role.
