Join us as a Track and OCS Technician, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Eglinton (ON), CA. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the assets on the guideway of the line (Fences, track, turnout Litter Picking, greens management, drainage control of the platform and tunnel, overhead catenary system, Access control etc. ) in line with specified Quality procedures. Your key responsibilities: The role requires manual work and sometimes working on powered equipment in a safe and controlled manner. You will perform ice/snow clearance operations. You're expected to drive and manage the non-revenue vehicle railroad crane, ballast regulator, and Hi-Rail Vehicle when required. Work in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as laid down by legislation and the Company's Health & Safety and Quality policies. Participate in the maintenance of some other assets (Tunnel ventilation, security system, Pumps etc. ). Carry out all levels of examination and work arising involving the equipment/working manuals, shunting & reformation exams. You will exchange or repair some of the assets of the subsystems and undertake other duties related to the environment of the assets or of work as specified by the team leaders and/or Systems Operation Manager in a safe manner. In case of an Accident or Major failure, you're expected to report and participate in the rescue/corrective operations. You will work with the Rail System. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
