Job title: School Facilities Manager Pay rate: GBP12.96 per hour Location: Middleton, South Leeds Working hours: Monday: Thursday 9:30:5:30pm Friday 9:30:5pm Contract type: Short term temporary contract till 16th February 2024 Job Description: Under the direction of the Business Manager, the Facilities Manager will provide comprehensive operational facilities management to ensure the school environment is safe and secure for all stakeholders. Carrying out specified procedures in the event of fire, flood, breaking and entering, accident or major damage. To manage own budget in line with Best Value principles and follow set procedures, ordering all supplies and materials for maintenance and repairs Registering as a key holder and being a point of contact in emergency callout situations. Patrolling the site to check for hazards, damages and intruders. Liaising with the cleaning contractor supervisor, as necessary, to maintain standards, keeping the Business Manager informed of any breaches to the contract. Managing and overseeing the contractual grounds maintenance Inc. statutory tree surveys. Driving the school minibuses when directed for maintenance purposes and school outings.
