Imashi Garden Inc. is looking for a permanent full-time landscape technician who specializes in Japanese garden in addition to general gardening. Duties: Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens including Japanese gardens Plan and construct landscaped environments which include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures. Tree and shrub examination and treatment Growth of ornamental plants Lawn and garden maintenance Tree, hedge and shrub pruning Treatment solution injections Work at various residential and public locations Skills and Experiences: Completion of vocational school (landscaping) or several years of experience as a landscape technician (not limited to Japanese garden) Japanese garden knowledge (concept, plant, design) is a strong asset Education: Completion of secondary school Compensation: $25.00/hr, 30-45 hrs/week, 4% vacation pay, Travel Expense.
