As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more. Alstom is seeking an Power Supply (POS) CAD Engineer. This individual will be responsible for delivering Design submissions. Responsibilities Establish and Review basic and detailed design drawings for the project Integrate Technical Interface requirements from internal and external stakeholders Establish required interfaces drawings for interface management Prepare and submit BIM format documents when applicable Provide support on POS topics to System Engineering team Technical interface with Customer to provide support to POS Sub-system and POS Design Lead Definition of Design inputs required Bill of Quantities (BOQ) elaboration, review and update Support on arbitration on architecture definition between the subsystems to reach the best compromise for the POS design Participate in collecting REX on POS design Checking of suppliers, sub-contractors and in-house POS designs and ensure technical compliance Preparation, review and getting approval of design deliverables CAD/BIM POS documents preparation and review The POS team is mainly composed of on-shore located in Toronto, Canada, and off-shore part located in St-Ouen, France. Reporting This position will report to the POS Design Leader.
