Purpose The Summer Co-op, Environment position will assist the Environmental Compliance Department in sustainability reporting and environmental programs within Liberty’s environmental management system (EMS). The co-op's responsibilities encompass collecting, reviewing, and reporting environmental data for sustainability purposes, tracking reporting progress, and executing other essential tasks. Programs will include, but not be limited to, development of environmental compliance procedures and work instructions, reporting of environmental data for sustainability reporting, tracking of compliance obligations, and other tasks deemed necessary. The co-op will be responsible for fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and positively impacting employee engagement across all business lines through collaboration with local leadership, regional EHS professionals, and operations teams. Accountabilities Sustainability reporting duties include: Maintaining Liberty's GHG Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions inventory and reporting. Assisting field inquiries from site data reporters and operations personnel. Gathering data from field sources to aid in sustainability report preparations. Support data reporting training efforts. EMS duties include: Assist in maintaining an environmental management system and support it's continuous improvement. Provide technical and administrative assistance on environmental policies and programs which bear critical importance to overall corporate objectives, operations and profitability.
