Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to manage the overall safety program for site road safety by developing and carrying out procedures with the line organization that effectively control accident and health exposures in the company and minimize exposure and MOL, MTO, DOT, OSHA and MSHA charges. You will be responsible for providing guidance, awareness and proactive leadership and solutions to ensure safe and reliable operations while acting as a change leader, educator, advocate, consultant and mentor for the safety culture of United Materials, CBM Aggregates and CBM RMX. Strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask are a must. This role works closely with operational leadership from ready-mix and aggregates, and manages a department of 4 persons: Safety Specialist x 2, Fleet Compliance and Training Coordinator Accountabilities: Develop, implement and maintain safety procedures and programs necessary to improve effectiveness through.
