Are you ready to suit up? Garda World is currently seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee our Metropolis at Metrotown operation. You will be responsible for managing a large & highly motivated team of security professionals. Responsibilities will include managing contract operations as well as overseeing call response and day-to-day activities. Salary: $75,000 - $79,000/annually What you'll be doing: Manage a large dynamic team of security professionals Taking a proactive approach to coach, mentor and develop team members for successful career development Respond to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapments/medical emergencies/arrests when applicable) Develop, implement, and manage security protocols and procedures to safeguard client assets, personnel, and information. Conduct regular security audits to address security vulnerabilities Manage and coordinate security operations, including security personnel, surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve security measures Lead investigations into security breaches or violations and implement corrective actions as necessary Collaborate with external stakeholders, law enforcement agencies, and security service providers as needed Prepare and deliver security training programs to educate employees on security awareness and protocols Other related duties as assigned What we offer: Set schedule (with operational flexibility including some afternoons and weekends) Ongoing training and development Excellent benefits Diverse work assignments Opportunity for growth What we're looking for: Minimum 4-6 years of Security Management experience Valid Security Guard licence required (with the ability to obtain AST) Strong communication skills (written and oral) OFA2 first aid or ability to obtain Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response procedures Excellent leadership,.
