Under the direction of the Senior IT Manager Tech Sort Automation and Visibility, this position focuses on automation solutions for the operations EV Program in Purolator’s Network. Core Responsibilities: Lead Project responsibilities from start to finish. This will include multiple mini projects within the same time period. Ensures the availability of the Application layers associated to Operations Technology Solutions Ability to grasp new application concepts and relate them back to business use cases to determine value for the organization Supports operations and provides recommendations for improving the overall performance Performs day-to-day IT/Network maintenance activities as needed Deploys new updates for various systems and rollback in case needed Troubleshoots communication issues from end to end Recommends any additional network security measures Changes plans in the backup & restore software Upgrades the firmware for the various types of industrial equipment (EV Chargers, controllers, label printers, and but not limited to handheld scanners) Raises service requests to the vendor when needed Controls software and hardware versions Performs corrective maintenance actions to reduce the downtime Creates root cause analysis reports for the issues found on site Creates and executes comprehensive test plans, reports, and tracks.
