The Role: As a Librarian you will provide the professional skills and expertise to ensure that services and resources supporting literacy, learning, access to information and human connection are developed in line with community needs and best practice. You will improve reach of library services to those who will most benefit, and into all areas of the community. You will also ensure that Library Officers are well equipped to deliver these services. By nurturing collaboration and inclusion, you'll shape your service area to be actively involved in making libraries better than ever. Please note that there is Saturday and evening work expected in this role. Please refer to the Job Description for more information. About You: Passionate about libraries, you're ready to champion all the important ways in which they can benefit the community. A highly personable individual, you have experience of building trust and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the service is reflective of the needs of our communities.
