JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Registered Nurse Manager - Bone Marrow Transplant RN MGR - BMT Full-Time Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit will have the following job responsibilities: The Nurse Manager is responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital Mission, Vision and facility goals. The manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department, taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers related to our service to the Bone Marrow Transplant population. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patient's physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse Manager - Bone Marrow Transplant RN MGR - BMT Full-Time Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit must meet the following job qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing required Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred Five (5) years experience in management, preferably in a hospital setting with experience including management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, and physician relations Previous management in critical care is required; clinical or leadership experience with the cardiac intensive care population is highly preferred Current Texas RN license or compact license Current AHA or ARC BLS. Certification in nursing specialty or leadership preferred ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALTY REQUIRED (If no Bone Marrow Transplant experience, would look to consider Oncology experience)
