Townsen Memorial Surgery Center is looking for a dynamic and ambitious PRN Certified Surgical Tech to join our team in Spring, TX ! RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates competency in assisting with all surgeries and accepts surgeon feedback as constructive learning opportunities Demonstrates knowledge of all surgical instruments and anticipates next instrument needed Demonstrates competency in all positioning techniques for the surgeries they are participating in Demonstrates safe stabilized placement on the appropriate bed/table, with the appropriate operation, set up, safety measures, and utilization of all necessary equipment, stabilizers, padding, wrapping and/or attachments REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience as CST (preferred) Formal education in surgical technology and assisting (preferred) Orthopedic and Spine Procedures experience (required) Sterile Processing Experience (preferred) Diploma in Sterile Processing Program and/or Associate's Degree in a related field (preferred) BLS certification ABOUT US: Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
