The Production Manager oversees routine and newly developed processes related to the manufacture, blending, and packaging of chemical and personal care products. Assures accurate and complete documentation of all activities. Ensures product quality by adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety and other regulations as necessary to ensure public safety. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Monitoring department specific operations ensuring that the quality, safety, environmental and housekeeping standards are met while ensuring operations are efficient and organized. Maintain facilities in the highest level of compliance and cleanliness and ensure operating procedures are executed in accordance with all regulations. Provide direct supervision and coaching/training to employees, complete performance reviews. Foster an open, collaborative, and positive work environment. Inventory monitoring and ordering for packaging, blending, and filtration materials. Support fill line operations for multiple sizes. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 3-5 years' experience in management required, ideally in Chemical blending and inventory management Ability and willingness to learn and develop new processes. testing techniques and procedures. Familiar with regulations (cGMP, Food Safety, BRC, NACD etc.). Knowledge of Chemical Tolling, Distribution HAZWOPER and Hazard Communication Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Familiarity with various software programs/LIMS systems Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) Have basic computer skills. Must be able speak and understand English well. Have good communication skills (written and oral). Ability to read and identify sequences of numbers. Must be able to multitask and work in a production environment.
