Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking to hire a full-time Landscaper to help maintain the grounds at both our properties to positively impact the experience for our members. If this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LANDSCAPER As a Landscaper, you enjoy being outside and a part of a team. We have landscaping at two clubhouses and two golf courses that need to be maintained, and we depend on you to help keep them beautiful. During your day you are asked to prune shrubs, apply mulch and groundcover, backpack blow, pull weeds, and apply pesticides. During the summer months, you water plants and flowers, mow the lawns at the clubhouse and help with other tasks as assigned by your supervisor. While you complete your work, you safely drive utility vehicles and golf carts. You love being part of a dedicated, hardworking maintenance team. The pride that you take in your work ensures that the beauty of the grounds live up to our good reputation. QUALIFICATIONS 1-year experience in landscape maintenance or installation Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods of time Hard-working/ good attitude Basic knowledge of plants as it relates to landscaping Experience with power equipment (mowing equipment, small tools, etc.) as it relates to landscape maintenance is a plus!
