Works closely with Director of Culinary Experience to efficiently and effectively run the department within budget. Ensure resident satisfaction through a top-notch dining experience. Works closely with Director of Culinary Experience to run the department efficiently and effectively. Achieve all budgetary goals. Ensure resident satisfaction through a top-notch dining experience. Maintain all departmental documentation according to state and federal regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of all menus and meal preparation. Assist in the planning and execution of all department and family events. Assist in the planning and execution of catering menus and functions. Maintain inventory control of food, alcohol, supplies and equipment. If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat: Positive team player attitude and love working with people! High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in food preparation. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling skills. Food Handler Card with understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes. Creative culinary and prep skills. Previous experience working in Hospitality, Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience a plus!
