Located just off Route 25 in Monroe , we are centrally located between Danbury and Bridgeport. Pay and Schedule - $18 - $20 hourly, depending on experience. This position will be on-site at our Monroe facility, M-F. ABOUT THE QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR POSITION As the Quality Control Inspector you will visually inspect and measure quality standards to ensure our products meet or exceed Church Hill Classics and customer's expectations. This is a NON-EXEMPT, ON-SITE position which reports to the Quality Control Manager. Responsibilities: Perform standard inspection of base materials, when applicable, to Customer and CHC standards Inspect, verify and document that finished goods meet Customer and CHC requirements. Follow-up inspection of non-complying product that has been re-worked and corrected. Complete Rejection reports and record findings of inspection process. Maintain inspection records as required. Assist production in controlling non-conforming products and materials. Validate all paper work as required (receiving, production shipping). Communicate quality problems with Quality Manager and production supervision. Finalize quality related paperwork as required. Participate and support continuous improvement objectives. Assist Leadership in enforcing requirements and GMP's throughout facilities. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Control Manager. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Trade school or two-year degree Previous Inspection experience is a plus Strong attention to detail, problem solver Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, organized Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Comfortable learning and utilizing multiple systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long period of time Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
