For nearly 30 years, ABC Children's Center has been serving the State College community. The Grays Woods center is located next to GW Elementary School, nestled among trees in a park like setting. We have a position open for an energetic and motivated individual that would be able to establish and maintain a safe and creative learning environment for our toddlers. This full-time position would be Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30 with a one-hour break. Responsibilities include Implementing our toddler curriculum Communicating daily with parents Maintaining a neat, organized classroom Providing a nurturing, caring environment for the children in your care Ability to work independently and within our team Qualifications At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED (Degree preferred) At least two years of experience with children (in a childcare center preferred) Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents, both written and verbally Have, or be willing to get, required clearances Have, or be willing to get, a physical with TB test Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid holidays Paid vacation time Disability insurance Tuition assistance for higher education Childcare Discount Weekdays only - evenings and weekends off!
