Description:
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Radar Data Analyst in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: Develop, maintain, and utilize analysis tools and other technical methods as required to process radar data from Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulations of a BMDS radar in the Missile Defense Agency's Advanced Research Center (ARC). Produce analysis products such as plots, graphs, and charts, and assist the lead analyst in preparing briefing packages for review by the prime contractor and government customer. Assist the lead analyst in performing deep-dive analysis of radar data to identify root cause of anomalies in the ARC. Education Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related discipline Experience Requirements: 3+ years of relevant data analysis experience is required Must be proficient with Matlab, Python or other scripting languages and have familiarity with HDF5 data formats Must possess a willingness to learn radar data analysis techniques and demonstrate dependability and adherence to deadlines Must be familiar with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Special Skills Desired: Experience with Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Ground Test program is preferred, along with previous experience in working with radar data and associated formats Familiarity with the Linux operating system is also desired Have the ability to effectively communicate technical observations and analysis results with other analyst and program personnel Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance .
