Systems Integration Engineer Autonomous Solutions, Inc. is located in the foothills of Northern Utah. ASI is rapidly growing in its Mining Division. ASI-Mining is recognized for its products and solutions in robotics and autonomous vehicle technology with product offerings that cover a broad spectrum of machines and applications including autonomous haulage, semi-autonomous blasting, drilling, dozing, loading and others. In addition to providing solutions for some of the world's largest mining corporations, ASI-Mining is also an automation partner for several global mining vehicle manufacturers. As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for design and testing of our integrated autonomous robotics systems. This will include our command and control user interface, embedded vehicle systems, and vehicle actuation components. You will ensure our autonomous vehicles perform according to specifications and exceed customer expectations. You will work closely with the engineering development teams at ASI to prioritize enhancements that can be made in our systems to improve performance and simplify integration. Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplines 5+ years of recent development and/or testing experience working in a software & hardware product development environment including some automation and regression system implementation experience Software test experience and understanding of software & hardware product development concepts, principles, and theory. Development of innovative hardware and software product testing solutions Solid understanding of software & hardware product development practices Installation, setup, and configuration of software, hardware, and network communications Ability to use Linux or Windows as your primary work platform Basic experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking systems Experience using GitHub, Bitbucket, and Mercurial for checking out and setting up projects as well as managing dependencies Ability to use SQL and understand database concepts. Travel is required approximately 25% of the time both domestic and international. A current passport Able to work extended hours as required. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining System-level test plans (Integration testing, System Level Regression Testing, Commissioning testing) Responsible for the development and maintenance of system-level testing tools and environments. Surrogates, simulators, software in the loop, hardware in the loop, etc. Participates in a team environment that executes full lifecycle software development, managing requirements, design, code, test, maintenance, and integrating real-time embedded software with specialized hardware. Supports planning and coordination for testing and deployment of software applications. Test, investigate and manage defects and discrepancies creating plans for corrective action. May require travel to customer sites for system-level integration with installation and commissioning partners for new site bring-ups May require travel to customer sites for troubleshooting system-level performance challenges IE: software, hardware, wiring, configuration, etc. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
