Description: Our client, a financial services company, is seeking an experienced Application Security Analyst to support incident management and event monitoring for a digital banking application. The ideal Application Security Analyst candidate will monitor internet traffic, investigating events like bot attacks, bot mitigation and DDOS attacks. Responsibilities: Monitor front-end web traffic from an attack perspective. Respond to security incidents and write incident response reports. Assist with threat prevention and mitigation for a digital banking application. Investigate bot and DDo S attacks. Work with the web application firewall. Collect SIEM (IDR) telemetry data into a central location for Security Operations (Sec Ops) and provide visibility dashboards and alerts. Create incident responses and put additional mitigations in place to alert end users. Develop and implement digital banking monitoring use cases. This role may require additional on-call/after hours support, on an as-needed basis. Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a Security Analyst working within Sec Ops. Experience working with F5 Silverline, Akamai, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and/or Azure Kubernetes would be nice to have. Familiarity with web application cybersecurity platforms, such as Rapid7’s Insight IDR. Previous experience supporting a digital banking application, ideally ebank IT, would be ideal.
