Shift: Monday : Friday or Tuesday : Saturday (Shift work required) Salary: Competitive We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Components Inspector to join our team. As the Aircraft Components Inspector, you will play a crucial role in the detailed inspection of aircraft components using the LTLGS SAP system. This involves recording the condition of components, creating cost: effective repair route sheets, and ensuring compliance with OEM CMMs and SOPMs. Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the LTLGS MOE and integrated Quality Management System IQ Move. Perform detailed inspections of all components, excluding those undergoing quarantine processes. Create and modify component overhaul/repair routes within SAP. Record essential information (P/N, S/N, and Condition) in the shop Repair Order and LTLGS SAP system. Conduct accurate measurements of components as required. Work according to Production priority lists and provided milestone dates. Collaborate with Technical engineering and other production departments as necessary. Train and mentor team personnel based on qualifications and experience. Maintain a personal Practical Experience Record (PER) book. Actively participate in daily dialog meetings within the department. Working Conditions: Shift work (Monday : Friday or Tuesday : Saturday). Additional overtime hours may be required. Prolonged computer usage. Majority of working day involves sitting. Fluctuating workshop temperatures based on seasons and operations. Occasional loud noises from machinery and production activities. Physical Requirements: Excellent (aided or unaided) vision to detect defects. Occasional lifting of heavy components. Ability to sit for prolonged periods. Person Specification: Education and Qualifications: Aerospace apprenticeship (desirable). Maths and English GCSE A: C Grades or equivalent.
