As a Plant Operator, you will focus on general operation of onsite water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring all facilities are well maintained and remain in regulatory compliance. It also means combining our efforts and talents towards a more sustainable future - together. The role is based in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada. Extensive travel is required for this role to sites currently being operated by the company. All candidates must have a valid class 5 driver's license and clean driving record. What is the role? Operate onsite water and wastewater treatment systems without direct supervision, maintaining the plants in compliance with local and provincial regulations. Conduct standard onsite sampling and field testing of operational process parameters. Enter detailed daily operational data and lab results in daily reports. Compile data for monthly and annual reporting as per approvals. Ability and willingness to affect minor service and repairs within the treatment systems; work cohesively with management and onsite maintenance teams to effect significant repairs. Conduct preventive system maintenance. Document and manage critical spare parts inventory. Manage all onsite consumables daily, including ordering consumables as required. Support development of SOPs for various Plant Operations requirements. Adhere to and follow all company and client safety regulations. Take part in review, updating, and implementation of Plant ERPs, Operations Plans, and Drinking Water Safety Plans as required.
