We are seeking to recruit to a new, entry level role in the Licensing team that offers an ideal starting point into a professional career and the big wide world of Licensing. You will be involved with an A to Z of licensable activities, from Alcohol to Zoos, plus many more types of licences in between What you could be part of. Licensing plays a vital role to protect the public and to ensure a fair and level playing field for businesses. With our highly professional team, following a recent service review, this new role is very important as we develop and implement new online customer services. Our aim is to drive high compliance through a robust but fair role as a licensing authority, and balance this with a business-friendly commercial approach. By promoting confidence amongst potential licensing applicants and holders, and maintaining a safe and healthy balance, we aim to encourage positive growth and excellent levels of customer satisfaction. Undertaking the full range of assistant licensing officer duties to support the Licensing and Enforcement Officers within the team. Building strong working relationships internally and externally to promote and encourage compliance under all appropriate licensing legislation.
