Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Automotive Lead Designer : up to GBP 44/hr (Inside IR35) : Warwickshire : 6 months contract (potential to extend) Division: Design Position Description: Creates product designs and develops/uses concept boards to communicate product ideas. Establishes overall design standards and ensures design quality is aligned with corporate branding policy. Monitors the market, competitors, and trends. Level: A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex Skills Required: Portfolio of designs showing sophisticated appreciation of complex forms and refined details, and how these have translated into production: Visual creative and presentation skills in both 2D and 3D: Cooperation with Engineering, Marketing, Programme and other Design specialist to achieve high quality outcomes Experience Required: Degree in ( Product, Transportation, Mobility or Automotive) Design : Experience in all stages of the automotive design process from initial concepts through to production Experience Preferred: Photoshop: Illustrator: Blender: Alias: VRED Additional Information: This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35. A portfolio is required prior to application submission. Offers post: interview will be aligned to candidates skill set/ experience. Please note for this position, you MUST have a UK passport / valid UK settlement status or a Visa that does not require sponsorship of any kind.
