Colour Match Technician Wrexham 08:30 – 17:001 week in 4 – 24/7 callout£30,000 - £35,000Colour Match Technician The Role Working for a leading ink manufacturer, you will be based at one of their customer sites in Wrexham. You will be in a team of 4 from the manufacturing facility, providing the customer site with colour matchings for new designs, solving technical problems and ensuring that stock of inks and bases are consistent with the needs of the customers production. Colour Match Technician Main Responsibilities Providing technical support of products to the customer. Mixing ink. Stock control. Reporting of ink consumption. Working closely with the customer graphics team, providing colour matching of new colours and be involved in new designs. Attending customer daily meetings. Reporting deficiencies in the technical performance of ink to the mother manufacturing facility. Checking incoming goods and inputting necessary data into the management software. Adjust stock deliveries. Provide end of day reporting to the mother plant. Colour Match Technician The Candidate Previous experience of colour matching is highly desired, but would be open to considering application from lab environments & chemicals. Must be able to speak and write English fluently. Basic qualifications in Maths and English is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Strong knowledge of 5S. You must be able to identify, distinguish and differentiate between different coloured inks. Must live within 45 mins of the customer site due to callout requirement. Must be able to work 1 in 4 weeks on 24/7 standby callout. Must be able to travel to mother plant near Manchester for initial training period accommodation paid for.
