Role Summary We currently have an exciting opportunity for a navigator role within the Immediate Justice programme. In this role you will facilitate reparative work as part of the Out of Court Disposal framework, for adults who have been involved in a variety of anti-social behaviour (ASB) for example, drunk and disorderly, criminal damage and vehicle related ASB. You will take a multi-faceted approach to tackle various aspects of ASB, providing trauma-informed support to service users who have completed their reparative activity. The role involves signposting service users to various external support services including but not limited to restorative justice, drug and alcohol services, mental health practitioners, local councils and social services. The successful candidate will be required to have a full clean driving license for use of a company van - some training and check off will be provided. Please note due to the nature of the work, on this occasion we are recruiting for a MALE applicant. Who we are We’re Causeway, the UK-wide charity who believes in the power of lasting change. We take people from existing to living, and empower our service users, including survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. Since 2005, we have expanded across multiple regions and now provide accommodation and outreach support to hundreds of survivors of modern slavery every year. Since 2018, we’ve been collaborating with organisations such as Merseyside Police, South Yorkshire Police, Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service as part of our Life Navigate department. This department uses a trauma-informed approach to achieve our goal of breaking the cycle of crime. Life Navigate is made up of 4 programmes; The Deferred Prosecution Scheme (MDPS) which works to support low level offenders of crime to avoid further criminality; Re Focus, which aims to support and signpost individuals who a motivation to change after being identified for potential low level Domestic.
