Health and Social Care Apprentice Within a supported accommodation setting, Wilkinson House, Wymondham, Norfolk. Full Time (37.5 hours per week) with flexible hours available Fixed term 15 months (with progression into permanent opportunities available) Hourly Pay between £7.49 to £10.42 (dependant on age) Home, a place where brilliant apprentices belong Have you always wanted to develop a career in Health and Social Care and in a housing support worker role? As our Health and Social Care Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex homelessness needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know! Typical day as a Health and Social Care Apprentice: Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans. Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able. Contributing to support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to work together with colleagues too. It’s important you’re at work when our team are around to support you so, although hours of work are usually 9am-5pm, flexibility is important. Work life balance is also important, and we understand that hospital appointments and family emergencies like to keep us on our toes, so we’ll be as flexible as possible around the challenges life throws.
