Job Reference #84753 Company Overview Length of assignment: 1 Year. Work Location: Edmonton - Standard - Rotation - 2wk on / 1wk off Work hours would initially be on a 5x10 shift, Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm. Beginning in May a 14-7 shift would start and carryon until end of November 2023. (14 days on, 7 days off shift,10 work hours per shift) There is the potential for continued work after November on a 4x10. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the day-to-day field operations for the assigned crafts and subcontractors. A typical scope of responsibility would be Field Superintendent or Area Superintendent. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understand and execute assigned construction tasks within the project scope Understand and interpret plans and specifications Successfully execute projects within contracted schedule and budget Work with multi-discipline engineering teams monitoring and controlling scope, schedule and budget Manage field crews and operation and maintenance of earthwork equipment Respond to field and client information requests Champion Worker Safety Programs Oversee site contractor fabrication, construction, and hookup work activities during Execution Phase Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned Provide the interface between the work face and the Construction Site Manager or Construction Site Lead SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Seeking a candidate with a civil construction background working in an industrial modular construction environment Experience with managing the fabrication/installation of HDPE pipe, sewer systems, civil soil management, module construction, assembly, and setting would be considered an asset. Experience representing owners’ interest on site Familiar with Construction Materials Testing procedures and ASTM standards Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients We thank all applicants for applying, however only those considered for an.
