Job Title: Sys Admin 4 (ONSITE) Location: Staunton, VA Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Requires experience, creativity, and multi-tasking to achieve department service and support objectives independently and collaboratively for the Transportation Operations Center. 5-7 years of experience in the field or related subject matter area. Responds to Tier 1 support requests. Provides exceptional customer service. Communicates effectively with teammates and customers of varying levels of technical expertise. Responds to all break/fix requests associated with end user resources. Configures and deploys new/replacement Linux (REDHAT) and Windows Operating Systems Servers. Configures and deploys new/replacement desktop/laptop computer equipment and peripherals. Maintains up-to-date project and architecture documentation. Maintains up-to-date inventory and maintenance records. Monitors system resources for server/service anomalies. Resolves connection issues between users and resources. Maintains detailed change history of changes. Supports team efforts to improve cybersecurity controls and defenses. Supports team efforts for threat hunting and mitigation. Manages time and resource constraints. Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Linux (REDHAT)/Windows Operating Systems Required 5 Years Desktop/Server Applications Required 5 Years Virtualization Required 5 Years Experience with Active Directory Administration Required 3 Years General Network Required 5 Years Backup and Recovery Required 5 Years Experience with Video Management Systems Desired 2 Years Microsoft Office Required 5 Years Cybersecurity Required 2 Years General Database Required 5 Years Audio-Video Support Nice to have 2 Years Microsoft Certification Desired 3 Years Help Desk Support Required 7 Years Powered by JazzHR
