Position Overview Guiding a content strategy focused on improving awareness of available services within the Winnipeg Health Region. This position plays a key role creating meaningful connections with the public, staff and partners, helping to create customized communication and engagement opportunities. Managing the Regional communication team’s content calendar, this position focuses on the planning, identification and production of multi-media content to support strategic goals and supporting initiatives. Duties include content development, photo and video production, story writing, monitoring analytics and reporting. This position is responsible for the Winnipeg Health Region’s brand management on digital and social media spaces, working to provide awareness of available health care services and programs, and responding to concerns and queries in a timely manner. Experience 4 years’ experience of content production experience preferably in a fast-paced corporate, government and/or health care setting. Extensive video production and editing experience, with an emphasis on digital video. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Post-secondary diploma or certificate in communications in communications or journalism. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
