This position offers exposure to a variety of Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) equipment/platforms while being contingent on the engineering fundamentals and reliability analysis. The successful candidate will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of process control systems at KFC, Brandon. The successful candidate will support day-to-day DCS/SIS responsibilities for the facility and support capital projects. The role offers opportunities for training courses in engineering, supervision, and management to support personal development and business needs. The successful candidate will manage and perform as a high-performing team member. The individual will also lead opportunities to develop industry knowledge and experience. Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its affiliates own or have interests in Nitrogen Fertilizer plants in the United States, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. These companies cover global demand through state of the art terminals in the U. S. Canada and Europe. Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its affiliates, including Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC and Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC, have the capability to manufacture, market and distribute more than ten million metric tons of fertilizer products annually. What You Will Do Champion and implement the KFC Process Control Vision in an interactive team environment Support APC and Procedural Automation/State Based Controls as they are implemented/maintained Act as an SME for Delta V DCS and SIS, PID Loop tuning, etc. Participate in larger KAES and Koch Industries community of practices in these areas and integrate their work at Brandon site Contribute towards execution of I&C scopes for projects and reliability improvement initiatives (e. g. PI implementation, digital transformation programs etc. ) by ensuring timely and adequate subject matter expertise support.
