Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll is actively seeking applicants for a Physiotherapist position. The Physiotherapist provides backssment, treatment, and education on the management of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and/or respiratory conditions. Responsibilities: Maintain the Standards of Practice Requirements in the Clinical, Interpersonal and Safety Aspects of Patient Care including: backssment and Analysis: Document relevant history, clinical examination findings, problems and goals, and treatment plan. Planning: In consultation with the patient and their family (and with collaboration of other members of the health care team), develop an individualized, outcome orientated treatment plan. Implementation: Following clients consent, implement the treatment plan, and provide instruction in self-management and health promotion. Ongoing Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and service; provide a high level of quality care through quality monitoring, program evaluation, and performance evaluation. Reporting: Provide timely, accurate and objective information about treatment, progress and discharge planning. Provide patient and family centered care. Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection prevention and control measures. Educate patients and families about his/her condition, treatment program, and self-management. Act as a resource to other members of the health care team. Participate in in-service and community education programs. Record statistics in accordance with Rehabilitation Services Policies and Procedures. Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs undertaken by the Patient Services Team. Coordinate the delivery of physiotherapy with services provided by other team members. Keep informed and remain objective of the roles of team members and their relationship to one another.
