We are currently seeking to hire and place several Loss Prevention professionals for a GTA-wide retailer. Skills/Qualifications: - Preferred to have at least 2 years of Uniform Tactical Guard experience in a Retail, Hospital or College. - Must have a minimum of 1 year experience being in a Loss Prevention Role - Be able and willing to work/commute at different sites across Toronto and GTA - Valid Security Guard License and First Aid CPR - Demonstrated ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports with meticulous detail and grammar - Willingness to complete all required training modules that include Lawful Subject Restraint, Crisis Management - both of which require annual recertification - Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c) - Conflict Solving skills - Ability/Willingness to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations- Use of Force Experience/Training is an asset - Military/Law Enforcement background is an asset What's is in it for you!
