We’re seeking an Active Wellness Coach to join the PARC Wellness Team at our Oceana PARC community in White Rock. It’s easy, fun, inspiring, and soulful – enriching the body and the mind through four pillars of wellness: physical fitness, social pursuits, emotional health, and nutritious meals. As Active Wellness Coach, you work closely with our Active Living Manager to deliver dynamic and holistic wellness programming, helping seniors stay mobile, set wellness goals, and improve their physical fitness. As PARC Active Wellness Coach, you’re responsible for: Inspiring seniors and motivating them to make healthy lifestyle changes, in an encouraging and fun environment. Creating and delivering senior-tailored fitness classes, including group and circuit training, yoga, pole-walking, balance, core, and strength – plus cognitive, mindfulness, and other special programming. Conducting fitness backssments for new and current residents. Designing training programs and providing one-on-one sessions with clients. Maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting exercise space, with equipment in good working order. Evolving PARC Fit offerings to introduce new techniques, exercises, and innovations. Supporting PARC Fit in the residence and in the community, including overseeing the sales of PARC Fit clothing and -accessories. The perks of working at PARC Meaningful work.
