Responsibilities Research best practices for posting content on social media. Research new digital accessibility concepts and provide feedback on current content. Reviewing information regarding the Integrated Accessibility Regulation 191/11 under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. Assisting with the development of the necessary policies to comply with the legislation; Accessibility audit on the City of Woodstock website. Creating and remediating accessible documents or the City’s website; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Essential: Currently enrolled in a Canadian College or University program and must be returning to school full-time in the fall, Excellent research skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Proficient computer knowledge and skills, Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines. Preferred: Experience with policy writing, desktop publishing and communications will be an asset, Experience in program evaluation will be an asset, Experience with Accessibility legislation will be an asset. Working Conditions 8-week position, scheduled 35 work week (Monday – Friday) in office. May be required to work overtime.
