Purpose This role will support the Grid Modernization team’s ongoing research and analysis in support of electric utility distribution system planning work, active rate case requests, infrastructure modernization grant funding applications, or customer-facing programs in the Electric Vehicle charging and Energy Storage space. Accountabilities Identify trends, uncover and visualize causal relationships in the underlying data and undertake tasks to improve future data management. Work with complex datasets to organize them for further usage in planning analysis, customer billing or regulatory reporting. Conduct bet practices research tasks assigned by the leader, regarding specific elements of EV, solar, storage or commercial aggregation programs across the United States and Canada, offered by other utilities and private sector service providers. Support the day-to-day running of the existing customer facing EV charging program(s), through tasks such as billing verification support, financial expenditure tracking, installation project management, and customer assistance / development of external communication materials. Education and Experience 2nd or 3rd year student enrolled in the engineering, economics, statistics, or data science disciplines. Additional academic background (e. g. a minor or a joint program) in Finance would be considered an asset. Qualitative and/or quantitative research, data collection and analysis.
