Purpose Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Project & Permitting, supporting the team with permitting and land engagement primarily for new development projects. Accountabilities Regulatory, planning, permitting and environmental review work, including: • Reviewing work associated with the development, design and construction of renewable energy projects in Canada and United States • Document management, archive information, report submissions and review • Reviewing of regulations, program rules, reports, directives from government agencies (interpretation, application, summary) • Assisting with all logistic and planning to ongoing originations, acquisitions and development projects • Supporting Government agency interactions (transport, environment, natural resources, culture, renewable energy, etc. ) Land and Stakeholder Engagements work, including: • Management of Stakeholder documentation for all active development projects • Assisting with management of active project websites and related activities • Supporting landowner and community engagement activities • Helping manage land agreement Education and Experience • 2nd – 4th year student currently enrolled in post-secondary education with a focus on Environmental science, Regulatory Affairs or other related discipline • Strong presentation skills • Ability to and interest in working within a fast pace environment • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities • Thrives in working in a multi-disciplinary team environment • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Our purpose.
