Here are some key responsibilities of the role: Responsible for building trust and credibility with HRBP and Associate groups to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment by responding to HR related inquiries on health & safety, claims, benefits, payroll, leave of absences, Supports HRBP team with Associate Relations activities (Violence in Workplace, Harassment & Discrimination, Open Door, discipline, attendance management, grievance and arbitration) by scheduling and attending meetings, collecting and documenting information; also supports DC events, HR research and reporting needs, Assists with leave of absences, claims documentation, drafting/mailing letters; tracking non-accommodation and non-compliance letters/cases within established HR database; provides instructions to union, Accountable for managing DC HR records; maintains in-house filing system, sending HR documents to Home Office, coordinating vendor (Iron Mountain) services for archiving, retrieving and shredding of documents (through IM Connect) and reviews monthly reporting to ensure documents are managed according to Company retention schedule, Tracks and coordinates Associate Safety Shoe reimbursements including auditing submitted receipts.
